I asked a client the above "title" question this morning and the first thing out of her mouth was, "The day my kids were born." Without hesitation, the second answer was, "The day I met Marlin!" The man who would eventually become the love of her life. What she remembered most about that day was the smile he gave her. I have asked women this question a few times this week and the answer follows a trend, the first response is always the birth of one (or all) of their children, the next response relates to falling in love or a lovely gesture or experience shared with someone they were currently in love with. Very simply, every response, even those related to having children had its origins in LOVE!
Sometimes the responses are extravagant outings like honeymooning in the Caribbean and wedding proposals, but often they were more simple things like walking in the rain and the fact that he gave her his jacket, or the way he looked at her or smiled revealing his true nature of loving kindness. One woman whose husband is consistently loving and romantic had perhaps the best answer to the "best day of your life" question, her response was; "That would be TODAY!"
So here's your chance, today is a great opportunity to share you heart with those closest to you and perhaps make this and the coming days leading up to Valentine's Day "The best day(s) of someone's life!" What kind gesture could you do for you lover today? Is it simply a smile? Looking deeply into her eyes expressing how beautiful she still is to you. Or pehaps you want to push her over the edge of ectasy and make a homemade gourmet dinner with your own two hands!" (SweepingHer.com makes this a much simpler task!) Whatever you choose be it extravagant or simple just put your heart into it, let her feel your reverance for her and I guarantee that this day will be sceaming up the charts as one of the best she's ever had!!!
